How far in advance should I book?
The sooner, the better! Bridal bookings can fill up months in advance, especially in peak wedding season. Photoshoot slots are more flexible, but it's always best to check availability early.
Do you travel for bookings?
Yes! Emily is based in Newcastle, but she’s happy to travel. Travel costs may apply for locations outside of Newcastle, and overnight stays may be needed for early start weddings further afield. Just ask, and we’ll sort the details!
What brands do you use?
Emily carefully selects high-end and professional products that are long-wearing, camera-friendly, and suitable for all skin types. Expect brands like MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS + others, ensuring a flawless and lasting finish.
Can you accomodate different skin tones and types?
Absolutely! Emily is experienced in working with all skin tones, types, and textures. Every look is tailored to enhance natural beauty while keeping skin happy and comfortable.
Do you offer trials?
Yes! For brides, a trial is highly recommended to perfect the look before the big day. For photoshoots, a trial isn’t usually necessary, but if you’d like one, we can arrange it.
How long does makeup take?
Bridal makeup: Around 1.5 hours (including final touches).

Bridal party: 45–60 minutes per person.

Photoshoots: Varies depending on the style and complexity—get in touch to discuss!
Can you stay for touch-ups?
Yes! For weddings and longer shoots, Emily can stay for touch-ups or makeup changes. Additional fees may apply depending on the duration.
Do you offer makeup for larger groups?
Yes! If you have a big bridal party or a large team for a shoot, Emily can arrange for an assistant to ensure everyone is ready on time.
