How far in advance should I book?

The sooner, the better! Bridal bookings can fill up months in advance, especially in peak wedding season. Photoshoot slots are more flexible, but it's always best to check availability early.

Do you travel for bookings?

Yes! Emily is based in Newcastle, but she's happy to travel. Travel costs may apply for locations outside of Newcastle, and overnight stays may be needed for early start weddings further afield. Just ask, and we'll sort the details!

What brands do you use?

Emily carefully selects high-end and professional products that are long-wearing, camera-friendly, and suitable for all skin types. Expect brands like MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS + others, ensuring a flawless and lasting finish.

Can you accommodate different skin tones and types?

Absolutely! Emily is experienced in working with all skin tones, types, and textures. Every look is tailored to enhance natural beauty while keeping skin happy and comfortable.

Yes! For brides, a trial is highly recommended to perfect the look before the big day. For photoshoots, a trial isn't usually necessary, but if you'd like one, we can arrange it.

Can you stay for touch-ups?

Yes! For weddings and longer shoots, Emily can stay for touch-ups or makeup changes. Additional fees may apply depending on the duration.

Do you offer makeup for larger groups?

Yes! If you have a big bridal party or a large team for a shoot, Emily can arrange for an assistant to ensure everyone is ready on time.

Ori Studio is based inside of BASE Swalwell, just outside Newcastle.

Once you’re booked in, I’ll send over everything you need before your appointment, including where to come and anything you need to know beforehand.

Then all that’s left to do is turn up and get comfy.

So very happy with my lipblush experience with Emily! This is a treatment I will continuously return back to but only with Em! For someone that wears lipstick every single day for as long as I can remember, I hated having no makeup on without lipstick, and I didn’t like going out the house without it on as my natural lip colour is very pale and the borders I felt were not well defined. Now, in my first week post-lip blush I have not been wearing any kind of lipstick/tint etc 😊 the procedure itself was totally pain free, and Emily made sure the numbing cream was topped up! I booked Emily for my wedding in June, for me and my mum’s makeup. I don’t usually wear much makeup so in my trial we tried a few different options for my lips and eyes, and for the wedding day Emily had brought some new products more suited to my look. All her products were high end and quality and lasted all day.
